Bio
Hello! I am passionate about providing students with engaging and different ways of learning. I believe in teaching using visual instruction along with verbal instruction. When providing feedback, I believe in starting with positive things the student has achieved, followed by challenges in their learning or skills. Through tutoring I would like to achieve new ways to come up with creative solutions to help the students to learn and understand new concepts. I am committed to help students to learn in different ways to help achieve their goals. I believe creating positive relationships with students in an important aspect in providing them with the best learning experience. I will create a supportive environment by making them feel heard and using examples that align with their interests. I am a special education teacher at a behavior school. I really enjoy visiting new places and hiking. Being an educator inspires me to keep helping kids and led me to want to become a tutor as well.

I am a special education teacher at a behavior school. I have a degree in special education and can teach special education in grades K-12. The last 2 years I have been an Intervention Specialist teaching ELA in grades 4-6.
