Bio
I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive learning environment where students feel seen, understood, and capable of success. I have extensive experience working with students who have behavioral challenges and emotional needs. Through relationship-building, consistency, and evidence-based strategies, I have helped students move from crisis behaviors to positive engagement in school, often building such strong connections that students seek me out in the hallway just to say hello. I am highly knowledgeable in a wide range of subjects and tailor my instruction to meet each student’s individual needs. My goal is not only to improve academic skills, but to build confidence, independence, and a genuine belief in one’s own potential.
Teacher Specialization
I am a dedicated ESE teacher with a Master’s degree in Education and experience teaching students across all grade levels, K–12. I specialize in K-5 Reading, Social Studies, Math, Science, Social Skills, ESE all subjects 6-12 English, Social Studies, AP Lang, AP Lit, AP Psych, and AP Social Studies. I have tutored virtually before short-term over the summer for high school economics and government.
