Bio
Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. My name is John and this is my 21st year in education. I currently teach 3rd grade but I have taught grades 3-5 in my career. I have also spent 7 years as an assistant principal at the middle school level. I have had lots of experience working with students virtually. From 2020-2025 I worked with students through my school districts virtual homework help and tutoring platform. I enjoy working to help students succeed in one on one and small group settings. I know that taking time outside of school to work on needed skills can be challenging for students, so tutoring should be a process that is meaningful but also fun! I look forward to working with you!

I have been an educator for 21 years. I am currently a 3rd grade reading teacher, but I have taught 3-5th grades during my career. I have also spent 7 years as an assistant principal at the middle school level. From 2020-2025 I worked with students online tutoring them using my district's Helpline platform, so I am experienced with providing instruction to students on a virtual platform. I have a certification in K-6 Elementary School, and K-12 Literacy.
