Bio
Throughout my career, my passion has always been helping students overcome challenges and realize their full potential. My motivation for tutoring comes from a deep desire to break down the barriers students often face in in school. I believe students learn best when complex ideas are broken into smaller, manageable steps and when they clearly understand what they are learning, why it matters, and how to recognize their own success. Learning should feel purposeful, supportive, and achievable. I believe that strong literacy skills are the foundation for success across all subjects. As a tutor, I focus on building confidence, strengthening reading and writing skills, and helping students understand how they learn best. My approach is patient and supportive, ensuring students feel comfortable, capable, and motivated to reach their academic goals.
Teacher Specialization
I am a dedicated educator with over 10 years of classroom teaching experience and 15 years as an instructional supervisor. I specialize in helping middle and high school students (grades 6–12) strengthen their English Language Arts skills, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and critical thinking. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and Education and a Master's Degree in School Administration.
